The Blossoming Heart Series is inspired by sacred hearts found in Latin American folk art. Carved from found aspen wood this radiant heart is crowned with carved agave leaves. There’s a an antique keyhole escutcheon nailed to the delicately painted surface. Inside the keyhole are tiny painted clouds in a blue sky. The wood is painted with acrylic. There is a hook on the back to hang the artwork.
