The Blossoming Heart Series is inspired by sacred hearts found in Latin American folk art. Carved from found aspen wood this radiant heart is crowned with carved vines, leaves, hummingbirds, and flowers. There's a an antique door knob plate nailed to the delicately painted surface. Inside the upper hole are tiny painted clouds and inside the keyhole are hand painted stars. The wood is painted with iridescent acrylics. There is picture wire on the back to hang the heart on a wall.
