This angel is carved from fallen aspen collected in the mountains of Northern Arizona and New Mexico. The wings are made with antique ceiling tin. It is made with a combination of man made and natural elements. There are found objects and antique tin nailed in the figure's body along with a pattern of copper studs. It has tiny carved leaves growing from its wrists.Atop its head are carved leaves and a headdress made with found and carved wood. It is part of a new series called Anthropocene. The series is meant to evoke beauty in this time of human made environmental change. There is a hook on the back for hanging. Hat is removed and wings folded down for shipping. It requires simple assembly.
