“Sky Woman” is carved from found aspen and reclaimed wood. She stands on a base made from an antique corbel recovered from a ruined palace in India. In her hand is a frame made of antique tin and mica with a miniature painting on amate bark paper of clouds in a clear blue sky. Atop her head is a carved bird on a branch with carved leaves. The dress has a hand painted pattern of rosettes. The piece is finished with wax. It comes apart for shipping and requires simple assembly.
